Salmon ginger roll
Sushi is very widely available in Kuala Lumpur, as it is in most cities in Asia, but I’ve found that the quality varies quite a bit. What I love about Hajime’s sushi is that the presentation of each of their dishes is really gorgeous, without compromising on the freshness or the variety.
The dragon roll has salmon, tuna, unagi (eel) and yellowtail wrapped around it, in a sort of “everything but the kitchen sink” sushi roll
Our sushi meal was a nice, low-key respite from the craziness of all of our Christmas merrimaking, and I vowed to the hubby afterward that we should make this a holiday tradition. I mean, what could say Boxing Day more than a sinus-clearing gob of wasabi?
