Last month I made postcards to send to our friends and family back home. We missed the boat on holiday cards this year in part because of my unexpected trip back to the U.S. in November, so the hubby and I debated whether New Year’s cards would make it to the States before February. If we were too delinquent, I was worried that not only would our notes be untimely, but that we’d look like complete slackers.
Ultimately, we played it safe with a little greeting from our neck of the woods.

They looks amazing biscuitwheels. I’m always so impressed with your gocco skills.
These look awesome! So talented!
Thanks, everyone! And Merp, so glad to hear that it came in January, at that!
Received with many thanks! (And, received in January.)
They do look great, what a fantastic idea to touchbase from afar.
I got caught up with your posts yesterday and the lovely card was waiting in the mail when I got home from work. Made my day, thanks!
Thanks, everyone — and Vivian, glad yours made it to you safely!
