Before I arrived in KL, I found a pen pal already living here, whom I was introduced to through a friend in DC. Courtneysuggested that I sign up for this “Getting to Know Kuala Lumpur” tour being offered by the American Association of Malaysia, and not only was the tour great, it also was a great distraction from all the stresses I wrote about earlier.
I knew I was on the right tour when we started the morning by Getting To Know The Fruits of Malaysia. Pictured above were some of the offerings set out for us. Not pictured was one of my favorite Southeast Asian fruits, the pomelo, which still aren’t widely available in the U.S.

And what a fine hat it is! You sure know how to rock your pomelo and I like it.
You look amazing. The orient certainly agrees with you. I hope all is well and Gerry is enjoying his job. I look forward to catching up on all our adventures. Have a great day (when you get up in the morning)!!!
Peace and Love…Denise
