he’s here!

The Gravy Baby, otherwise known as Bennett, arrived yesterday, September 16, 2010 at 6:02 pm Kuala Lumpur time (6:02 am US Eastern time).  He’s 7 pounds, 12 ounces and 21 inches long.  We love that he arrived on One Malaysia Day.  So far, he seems to enjoy eating, sleeping and world peace.

Thanks for everyone’s well wishes!  We’re doing great.  (And my first confinement soup was actually tasty.)

biscuitwheelssays:

Thanks, Laura and Lindsey! We couldn’t be more thrilled.

Melsays:

He’s geooor-jus. Congratulations to you all. What’s amazing is you’re still doing recipes on the way to giving birth. In French they say “elle ne perd pas la nord (grammer?)” You never lose your focus.

At any rate, get ready for the happiest ride of your life….raising a child. Hope to see you the next time you come to Mt. P.

biscuitwheelssays:

Thanks, Mel! I hope we can catch up next time we’re in the South, too!
