I have realized in the past few months that while I love being a mom, I am a much happier mom when I’m working.  It’s taken me 3 years to own it, and I have so much mad respect for the moms who stay home with their kidlets, day in and day out.

My current job situation allows me to stay at home AND work.  It’s basically the best thing ever to have happened to our family.  I get to use my mind grapes during the day and still have time to cook dinner every night.  As you know by now, that’s worth its weight in gold in the Gravy household.  The Gravy Baby has gotten old enough now that as soon as he gets picked up from preschool, the first words out of his mouth are, “What are we eating tonight?”

What can I say?  We train them early, and well.
